Billionaire Donald Bren child support case

Billionaire Donald Bren
Billionaire Donald Bren

This week  brought a long awaited trial to a close. A Los Angeles jury decided Thursday that the Irvine Co. chairman does not owe his two adult children any more money. Christie Bren, 22, and David Bren, 18, were seeking retroactive child support of $400,000 a month each. They contended that out-of-court payments Bren made to their mother were well below what would have been awarded by a family court.

I saw some of Mr. Bren’s handwriting during a news story. Some of the evidence included some handwritten cards to the mother of the children. While I can’t locate a sample to post here, I can show you the general features, that stand out, in his writing.

Very important in his, and all, writing is our slant. We are taught to write with a slight right slant which, among other things, implies a reach out to others, and being emotionally responsive to the needs of other (other factors impact this, though). Mr. Bren’s writing was very left-slanted. At some point in his life, usually associated with something very emotionally painful, he pulled back into himself. This shows up then, in writing that is “pulled” back – as if distancing ones self from going toward others.

People that write with a can be extremely difficult to get along with as they are totally looking out for themselves. This coupled with Mr. Bren’s huge capitals (ambition, narcissism, arrogance) make for a very difficult person. While hugely successful in business, it is an over compensation for quite inadequate feelings.Had his girlfriend (never his wife) known this from the start – maybe she would have saved herself a lot of heartache.

One of the primary factors to look for in compatibility with another, is slant!

Lindsay Lohan Handwriting

Jul 10 2010 Published by admin under Handwriting of the Famous & Infamous

Lindsay Lohan

Lindsay is a 24 year-old actress and singer whose personal life has been the focus of recent news.
Her missing court-ordered drug/alcohol education classes, was a violation of her probation. Consequently, she has been ordered to spend 90 days in jail.

The above sample of her writing was taken from notes she wrote while in court.

The block style of printing, all in caps, is a “persona” handwriting. This means that she is hiding herself, and is careful about what she shows others.

As I have written about in a number of other newsletters, the zone of handwriting give important information. Again, among a number of things, the upper zone is associated with the intellect, the middle zone with one’s ego needs, and the lower zone with instinctual drives.

Lindsay’s block printing is a very inflated, enlarged middle zone. This area of her life occupies the most of her energy, at the expense of the other two. The meaning associated with this is an inflated ego, thinking the world revolves around her, wanting what she wants when she wants it!

Also, this style indicates a structured thinking process (like engineers, architects), as well as a detaching emotionally. Rebelliousness and stubbornness are also indicated.

Most likely, drugs and alcohol helped to free her from the grips of some rigid thinking, and emotional isolation.

Inflated middle-zoned writers, be it in printing or cursive, when present in a female, often indicate the lost child; one who doesn’t want to grow up, a puella (the female version of Peter Pan).

Times Square Bomber – Faisal Shahzad

Last week, Faisal Shahzad attempted to set off a bomb, at Times Square, in New York City. While a signature is not an adequate sample for a complete handwriting interpretation, it can tell us some valuable information. Again, our signature is how we want to appear to the world, while the body of writing is who we really are.

Some things to note in the above sample:

1. Striking is the slope of his writing as it is extremely upward indicating excessive, unrealistic energy. This often is seen in people that are “manic”.

2. Extreme arrogance and unrealistic thinking/fantasy is seen in his disproportionately large capi-tal “F” (overcompensation for feelings of inferiority).

3. Frustration is seen in the “tick” on the “F”, as well as the slashed i-dot.

4. Lack of attention to details is seen in the careless placement of the i-dot.

5.Interesting is that no last name was written, just his first. This indicates that the “family” is not as important as he is, personally. This looks more like he wrote “Lisa L” rather than Faisal. Im-portant! When words look like other words, when signature is illegible that person doesn’t want to be “found out” – invariably they have something to hide. Most people though, are unaware of this fact, and some will deny its veracity (if applied to themselves!). The truth is, the most honest, and integrous WILL have a clearly legible signature!

6. His “F”continues way below the baseline of writing (into the lower zone)

7. The final “l” plunges below the baseline. This is often seen in people that are chronically dis-satisfied.

8. The final stroke is long, and extended indicating caution, feeling generally and vaguely threat-ened.

9. The slant of writing is leftward, indicating defiance and self-involvement.

10. The imagery of the “F” is that of a weapon. Criminal handwritings often possess this type of imagery.

Generally, this person is defiant, wanting attention, and has problems with rules/regulations and authority figures.

Casey Anthony – Did she murder her own daughter???

Did Casey Anthony Murder Her Own Daughter?

Casey Anthony - note from prison

Casey Anthony - note from prison

Casey Anthony has been in prison since 2008, charged with the death of her 2-year old daughter, Caylee. During that time she has not taken or received a single phone call, outside of from her attorneys. In the news, is the  revelation that Casey has been engaging in correspondence with fellow prisoners, which includes almost 300 pages of handwritten notes.
I will comment on several very striking distortions that her writing contains. Distortions can be through forms, size, layout, or pressure.  You be the judge regarding whether, or not, you think she was capable of committing such a horrible crime.
1. Size:
The manner in which a handwriting is spread over a page indicates how much living space the writer demands. The blank paper is the writer’s universe, and how the writing occupies this blank space, tells us how the writer sees him/herself fitting in, and operating within, that universe.
The height of letters reflects the level of ambition for stature, prestige, and need for recognition. Casey’s writing contains a very large middle zone height. Compare hers to that of Albert Schweitzer (great example of humanitarianism and altruism):

Albert Schweitzer

Albert Schweitzer

Casey’s large, and somewhat showy script also goes with a need for exhibition in order to impress the world, and to win public recognition. The smaller writing of Schweitzer is indicative of a person that is not concerned with what people think of him. He sees the world as an infinitude in which he plays a finite, modest role. This doesn’t mean he lacks impersonal strength, or a sense of worth – he simply doesn’t need the ego recognition or reinforcement from others.
2. Proportion, proportion, proportion = balance, balance, balance!
We are spiritual, physical, and emotional beings. For optimal functioning, we need balance. Our writing contains three, measurable zones, each mirroring a aspect of our being.

Degree of balance and integration can be see by measuring zonal proportions. Optimal proportions would have the upper and lower zone being approximately 1.6x larger than that of the middle zone.  (the middle zone height measurement is the most important one, as all other measurements are compared to it)
Please look at Casey’s letter “f”, inside of the drawn circles. From measurements taken in her writing, I have established the size of these circles, representing how far her upper, and lower zone should extend. The example below that, shows an “f” that is balanced in the three zones.

Disproportion in Casey Anthony Handwriting

Disproportion in Casey Anthony Handwriting

Balanced "f"

Balanced "f"

All of Casey’s psychic energy  is going into the middle zone, where the ego – and it’s expression, is housed. This imbalanced pattern is seen in writers that over rate their own importance, as well as, make issues of the most trivial things. Something happened to their ability to dream and envision a life greater than the mundane. She has virtually no interest in challenging her intellect as seen in no energy going into the upper zone. The lack of an adequate lower zone indicates a number of things including sexual immaturity and, need of routine. This pattern also includes things such as ability to manipulate, possessiveness, hating to be alone, envy and dependency.
3. Margins

Margins, left/right and top/bottom, give information on the place the writer wants to occupy among others, and that which he really occupies. In the above sample, the margins would all be considered as very narrow. This adds to Casey’s inability to adapt to changes in life. She must use all available space with pushing and talkativeness; content is more important than form and she takes advantage of others (using up their “space”). She is a person without orientation in life, and is greedy; false appearances are what counts. Wanting to be popular, and ability to act hastily are additional meanings.

4. Spacing

In looking at spacing, one must look at space between letters, words, and lines. Casey’s letters touch each other, in some places – very, very tight spacing. Her thinking is overly subjective – she can’t distance herself from her emotions to think clearly (notice the clear, objective thinking in the above Schweitzer example). She won’t keep her dis-tance and is insecure – craving contact. It is impossible for her to be alone. This combine with the narrow letters (narrower than they are tall) indicates extreme anxiety and possible obsessive tendencies.

5. Final Comments

I only looked at 4, out of 40, possible areas that go into a full analysis. Though, while this is hardly complete, it is certainly compelling enough to give us an idea about who this possible murderer is.
This handwriting is a very immature one – one that we might see with a young teenager. She is a lost soul – a perpetual child that doesn’t want to grow up. Often, this type of writer will look younger than her actual age.
Her crowded arrangement combined with being totally middle zone dominant paint the picture of a person that can’t see life objectively; everything is how things affect her. Her conscious (superego, some might say) has never developed, possibly out of a need to focus on protecting her ego from whatever was going on very early in her life. She is bright, and manipulative. While I can’t say if she murdered her child, I can say that she always puts her own needs first, and she has the ability to rationalize that what she wants, or does, is acceptable.

Charles Dickens Handwriting

Mar 25 2010 Published by admin under Handwriting of the Famous & Infamous

Charles Dickens

Dickens unhappy boyhood profoundly influenced his literary career. At the age of nine, out of economic hardship, he and his family moved to a shabby house on one of London’s mean and dismal streets. Many of the places, as well as life experiences, would be the basis for much of what he would later write about.
Charles Dickens was sufficiently gifted, optimistic, energetic, and ambitious to overcome and use these early experiences. He turned to writing at age twenty-two and his first work brought little financial return. With the publication of “The Pickwick Papers,” he became famous. From then on, his life was free of extreme need, though his marriage to the daughter of his editor was generally unhappy. Dickens was often targeted by literary purists and romanticists who objected to his exposing the suffering of the poor and their heartless exploitation. His books raised storms of protest, and movements started for ameliorating the conditions that he wrote about.
Notice the great variability is size of letters – as seen in example of magnified letters. Each red box is the exact same height.

Charles Dicken

The “es” on the bottom is much larger than the “ind” above. The impressionability and sensitivity which made Dickens’ youthful experiences so deeply felt that they influenced his entire career, are very apparent in the variability of the size of his writing.
His acute perception, understanding observation of what he saw, and discerning ability is seen in his small letters that are pointed at the top. In remembering the meaning from the “symbolism of space”, these pointed formations are pointing toward the upper realm of intellect.
Note the fluency, quickness, and ease with which the stroke moves across the paper. This shows Dicken’s lightening quick mind, his candor, and his gift for expression.
Noteworthy is his somewhat unusual signature. Larger than the body of writing indicates the tendency to appear more confident than he really is. The pretentious zigzag underscoring would ordinarily reflect conceit but, put into the context of his life, the meaning could be his sense of gratification at having been able to conquer the adversity of his early life.

Mount Rushmore Presidents, Obama, and Bush: Looking at the Archetype of America

Feb 02 2010 Published by admin under Handwriting of the Famous & Infamous, Uncategorized

The Archetype of America as Seen in the Presidents of Mt. Rushmore
How do Bush & Obama compare?

Mount Rushmore was created not only as a monument to the four men depicted, but also to the American ideals the four men represent. What were those ideals and does our current leader possess them? I thought it would be interesting to see what possible similarities each of these men had, as well as to see what those “American ideals” might be.

Mount Rushmore Presidents, Obama, and Bush

“Mount Rushmore is a memorial that symbolizes America.”
-Gerard Baker, Superintendent

“The purpose of the memorial is to communicate the founding, expansion, preservation, and unification of the United States with colossal statues of Washington, Jefferson, Lincoln, and Theodore Roosevelt.”            -Gutzon Borglum

First, a couple of basics:

Davinci, f, proportion

Phi, or sacred proportion, is present throughout the human body and in all of nature. The 2 drawn circles are in phi proportion; the outer circle is 1.6 times larger than the inner. When phi is present, there is balance and harmony.

Slant Guage for measuring handwriting

Slant Guage for measuring handwriting

Example of various slants

Slant of one’s letters is one of the most fundamental things looked at in handwriting as it represents one’s general orientation in life. Here in the west we write from left side of the page to the right, indicating symbolically leaving the past and heading toward the future. Contrast this with Aramaic writing that goes from right to left, symbolically always going back to the past, the roots. There are many associations with left and right, including left being more self-involved and right being more other involved. One of the biggest factors in compatibility is this fundamental thing. Americans, and our copybook, have a rightward slant indicating our extraversion and concern for others

Handwriting offers unfiltered, uncontaminated information about the psyche of the writer.
The handwriting doesn’t lie.

When phi is present:
Core Motivation – Soul’s expression
Owns personal authority, personal responsibility, and greatest level of adaptation and flexibility in thinking. Highest amount of “free will” available.

When phi is not present:
Core Motivation: Ego
Misplaced authority onto titles, power, or others, “stuck” thinking patterns, and   inadaptability. Little or no “free will” due to strong ego defenses.

While this is hardly a comprehensive evaluation, one is able to see immense information contained within size, slant, and proportion of someone’s handwriting. Please note that, though not posted here, I have made my measurements to establish “phi” circles from the bodies of writing from each of the six above president. Due to space limitations, the signature is only shown.

Not only does our writing go rightward across the page, we are also taught to form our letters with a slight rightward slant. The slant of one’s letters gives information as to the degree of one expression or restraint of emotions as well as sentiments towards the self, in relation to others. The more the right slant, the more there is a yielding to others, to society, and altruism.

This single quality is one of the most important aspect to look at, when evaluating compatibility. We are most compatible with those whose writing has the same slant as our own.
American school book, or copybook, teaches a rightward slant. Being that there is a bi-directional relationship between our hand and our brain means that, over time, the qualities associated with that formation, get wired into our neural network. The implication of this is something to be noted. How we use our hands, helps shape our brains. (The implications of increased computer use and the activity of “texting” in contributing to how the human brain is evolving. Some term this “self-directed neuroplasticity.”)

Different cultural archetypes, behaviors, have some roots within what was taught as copybook. For examples, German copybook contains many angles; associated meanings include a harshness, emotional coolness, and rigidity.

The meaning associated with the American, rightward slant is, among many things, an altruistic warmth and compassion. The farther right the slant, the more intense the meaning. This parallels body language of reaching out to someone else:

All four of the Mount Rushmore presidents, as well as G. W. Bush, have a forward slant, as well as the personality attributes associated with that type of stroke formation, while Obama’s has a more vertical one. Some meanings of this marked difference  include: a coolness, egotistic tendencies, and calculation – often a lack of feeling, out of passion being suppressed (I’ve heard the saying: “no drama Obama”).

When writing is vertical or left-slanted, it is mirroring the writer’s pulling back of energies into self, putting a distance between self and others. While Obama’s writing would be considered vertical (not leftward), it is considerably different than just about every other US president. Upon checking every signature of the American presidents I only found two others that had this type of slant: Bill Clinton and Lyndon Johnson.

Most remarkable in the samples of the Mount Rushmore presidents are the following qualities that they all posses: honesty- desirous of clear communication (clear, very legible signatures), respect for authority (upper zone formations), and lack of arrogance (phi is present). These men all were confident without being driven by an ambitious ego.
Some comments on the other presidents I have listed:

G.W. Bush: Rightward slant that matches America’s archetype, illegible (this is considered a negative), fairly balanced. His “G” fits well within phi circles; the “B” is larger. This indicates his having more importance associated with the family name over that of him personally. Family is most important.

B. Obama: Slant doesn’t match that of American culture, illegible (negative), capital letters are extremely disproportionate indicating, as some put it, a “superiority complex covering an inferiority complex.” (negative)  The “B” measured at 16mm high – almost double of what is considered the norm. The “O” is slightly smaller, indicating his importance is put on he individually, over that of the family name “Obama”. An interesting symbol is contained within the “O” – a dissecting line. Often there is imagery in one’s signature. Possibly, the fact that his has a mixed ethnicity, or somehow there was a “split” within his family of origin. These capitals, not only being extremely tall, are extremely wide. I have written about the meaning of this in my blog.   Obama’s Handwriting . I also wrote about Washington and Lincoln within my blog: Washington & Lincoln Handwriting. (http://lisaschuetz.com/blog)
John F. Kennedy: Though his capitals extend far out of phi proportion, he isn’t subsumed with projections, the way B. Obama is. Also very different and of import is the fact that JFK’s capitals aren’t extremely wide, also. This indicates his ambitions are more adventuresome and expansive.

Examples of extreme imbalance – showing the carrying of others projections:
(Obama would fall within this category. All these people achieved success in the outer world. It is said though, that every victory for the ego, is a defeat for the soul)

Examples of Imbalance

Examples of Imbalance

Examples of balance:

Balanced Psyches

Balanced Psyches

It is interesting to note in Mother Teresa’s writing the obvious greater importance she places on God. Note the much smaller “T” in her name compared to the “G”.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Indeed, America is on the brink of change.
In keeping with the qualities of what the Mount Rushmore presidents valued, a couple of the qualities needed – in order to resonate with Archetypal America, are: balance and clear communication. (Note: being able to eloquently deliver speeches, rhetoric, is not what is meant by clear communication)
Again, balance/greatest adaptability is seen in leading a balanced life which is represented by phi being present and an important indicator of honesty (there are many indicators) is a very legible signature. When one doesn’t have balance, nor has a legible signature, there is cause for question about what is truly driving that person’s life…
Queen Victoria’s Handwriting
Jan 26 2010 Published by admin under Handwriting of the Famous & Infamous, Uncategorized
Queen Victoria
(1819-1901)
QueenVictoriaPicture
Queen Victoria Handwriting
Currently in theaters is an excellent movie depicting the life of young Queen Victoria. Awakened in the middle of the night, at age 18, she received word that she was to be the queen of England. Her reign, which exceeded in length that of any other English sovereign, came to an end in 1901. (The current Queen Elizabeth II, granddaughter of Victoria, has had the title for approximately 60 years, to date)
This “Victorian” era lives on in history as one particularly marked by expansion of the British empire, by progress and material prosperity. During the time she and Albert shared, they traveled the continent, mingling with the people, feeling and trying to solve their problems, developing railways, commerce, education, art, and industry.
With her beloved husband, Prince-Consort Albert she had nine children. Bereft of her husband’s love and strong support by his death in 1861 (he was 44 years old), the sad and desolate queen withdrew from playing so prominent a part in public life.
Striking in her writing sample is the right slant showing one that would have a quick sympathy (and quick temper). This is quite different that what is the “norm” for the English culture, as a whole. The English, generally thought of as poised and reserved, typically have a more vertical script, meaning there is a bit of a holding back of the expression of emotions. Below is the current queen’s handwriting. Notice the difference in slant, than that of Victoria.
Handwriting of Queen Elizabeth II
Handwriting of Queen Elizabeth II
So Victoria, with passion and impulsiveness, held qualities that were quite different from the national norm. Maybe this is one of the reasons that she became unpopular with her subjects. She survived several assassination attempts, dying of natural causes.
Her small middle zone is narrow, an indication of introversion. But, there is wide spacing between the letters – wide horizontal expansion. This is due to her learned ability to act in an extroverted manner. A quality needed for the title that she carried.
The lower zone loops are very long, which can indicate the desire to avoid the realities of the daily routine and escape into the lower zone activities of food, sex, material things and compulsive busyness. These lower zone loops, in not returning back up to the baseline, indicate a frustration in this area of her life. This queen most likely was not the austere woman that history and the term “Victorian Age” would have us believe!
Another remarkable quality is her signature in that it is highly congruent with the body of her writing. Though the capital “V” is larger than other capitals, indicating a sense of self-importance, the rest of her name is highly congruent with the text. This means that there is almost a complete merging of the woman in the queen.
This writing sample has many more qualities such as courage, strong will, constructive mind, energy, and sympathetic understanding. Also evidenced is a dominating personality, her love of authority, occasional perverseness and temper.
F. Scott Fitzgerald Handwriting
F. Scott Fitzgerald (1896 – 1940)
F. Scott Fitzgerald
F. Scott Fitzgerald
F. Scott Fitzgerald Signature
F. Scott Fitzgerald Signature
Fitzgerald was an American novelist, famed for his depictions of the 1920′s Jazz Age. His best known work, The Great Gatsby, was written in 1925. He has been described as self-absorbed, drunk, and eccentric.  A heart attack, most likely alcohol induced in 1940, claimed his life at the young age of 44.
What stands out in this sample is the use of garland connections (seen at the baseline of writing), the unusual upper zone forms and movement (seen in his “F” and t-bar crossings), and the highly developed pictorial quality to the writing.
The unusual connections, as well as his capital “F” are in the upper zone of ideas, philosophies, and intellect. Creative forms in this area then, indicate the ability to think very creatively, uniquely. Notice in the enlarged signature sample, the unusual formation of his capital “F”. Not only is this creative, it is on the eccentric side, representing that eccentric quality to his personality.
The more picture-like form to the writing would be called a “persona” writing. rather than being free-flowing, the writing has an artistic look, almost as if it were drawn. This is not then a spontaneous writing, meaning that the writer spends time and energy making things look “just right”. People that execute their writing in a careful manner are more difficult to read, to understand, than those that are spontaneous.
Notice, toward the bottom of the sample, how “New York” is connected between the “w” and “Y”. When we see words connected like this, the meaning is that the writer is quite intelligent whose thoughts flow freely.
The cup-like, garland formations at the bottom of letters indicates amiability and a need to avoid conflict. Good organizational spacing indicate organized thinking with the ability to plan ahead. The vertical quality to his writing indicates self-involvement.
The pressure pattern of his writing, not clearly evident through this particular sample, but seen in others, indicates an appreciation of things that stimulate his senses, such as fine food, good wine, etc.
In terms of typologies, this writing would be considered primarily “sensing” (earth)
Tiger Woods Handwriting & Infidelity
Tiger Woods & Acute Angles
Tiger Woods & Acute Angles
I have received a tremendous amount of feedback to my first look at Tiger Woods. The “open rate” for that e-mail is currently at about 50% in only 24 hours. (Industry norms are approximately 15%) Many people e-mailed me, requesting even more information. Below, you can order a PDF checklist for infidelity indicators.
Note: Since that first newsletter, it has been confirmed that Tiger has not been faithful to his wife.
Space symbolism is an important concept to interpreting handwriting (and dreams, too). There are archetypal associations with the four directions. Tiger’s “W” is very interesting! First, the stroke ends in a movement to the left. The left is associated with the past (among other things). Some of his psyche is tied to the past in a significant manner.
Very interesting too, is something that not many graphologists know about. In studying my material from some of the great European graphologists/analysts I came across some significant information. This “W” has what is called “an acute angle” as a final adjustment (an added part to the finish of a stroke).
The associations for Tiger’s acute angle here is: greed, avaricious, serious, selfishly demanding, and fear of criticism or restrictions. Remember too, the meaning for that long extended final of his: caution and a gesture of pushing away or putting distance between others and himself due to feeling vaguely threatened in relationships. These two facts alone let us know that interpersonal relationships could prove to be very difficult.
I drew a line under the top sample to show how he can execute his signature in such a straight, level fashion. To do this, one would need great concentration and great hand/eye coordination!
Though I didn’t circle it, look at the acute angle on his “T”. Again referring to the same source as above, the interpretation would be that he makes unfavorable comparisons,obstinately defends own viewpoint, and is hard to please.
The huge lower zone loop on the “g”, in addition to showing his physicality, has the meaning of a healthy sex drive as this is the area associated with the physical, sexual, material, and instinctual.
Tiger is an astrological Capricorn, (earth sign). His writing nicely shows the strong “sensing” function through how he maintains his baseline, as well as those long lower loops – both “sensing” indicators. The Sagittarius in his personality is seen in the small middle zone letters.
The news is full of stories of famous men that have been caught cheating lately, be it politicians, sports figures, or actors. In looking at the common thread I have put together a PDF  check-list of the common handwriting indicators in this type of personality (with illustrations), available for download. George Washington Handwriting
Evolution of George Washinton
Evolution of George Washinton
With Thanksgiving upon us, I thought it would be appropriate to look at the writing of George Washington.
This writing is simple, neat, and very carefully written indicating an ability to communicate clearly, getting his thoughts across in plain language. The sometimes flat connections between letters indicate a certain anxiety present.
Notice the “th” connections. This type of formation in the upper zone indicates a person that has creative, fluid thought processes. Supporting this is how he connects the letter “d” to next letter, as in “Wednesday.”
Remarkable is the very consistent slant as seen by the red lines drawn. This lets us know that he was very predictable in his emotional responses, and that undoubtedly, others would find him very dependable.
The tall upper zone (notice “the”, “with”, etc.) indicates the high principles and standards expected of himself. We will see this in almost all of the initial presidents this country has had. Our Puritan roots are evidenced in many of the strokes that we find with the group of men. This also indicates interests in intellectual pursuits and the need for mental challenges.
The writing is mostly connected, breaking where appropriate, indicating a logical, sequential thinker. This too is supportive of the primary function being “sensing” in his typology.
Take note of the maturity seen in young George, of age 19. While handwriting can’t tell chronological age, it does emotional age. As he matured, the ambitious capitals in his signature came more into psychic balance as seen in his signature when president.  While he was ambitious and confident, he was not egotistical or narcissistic.
